Concrete Foundations & Flatwork
A metal building is only as solid as what it sits on. We pour the foundation for your building, and we also take on standalone residential and commercial concrete work, from driveways and patios to commercial slabs and parking areas.
Foundations for metal buildings
Your slab is planned together with your building, so it's sized and laid out for the building you ordered, door openings included, and one team handles both.
- Slabs for garages, workshops and carports
- Foundations for barns, barndominiums and commercial buildings
- Pads for RV and boat covers
- Coordinated concrete foundation and metal building installation to help your project run smoothly from start to finish
Residential & commercial concrete
Need concrete without a building? We pour for homes and businesses alike.
Residential
- Driveways
- Patios
- Sidewalks and walkways
Commercial
- Commercial slabs and foundations
- Parking areas and drive approaches
- Equipment and loading pads
Concrete services are available in Houston and the surrounding areas. Please include your project's ZIP code when you request a quote.
Typical building slab
For metal building foundations, our typical slab includes:
- 4-inch concrete slab (6-inch slabs available)
- 3,500 PSI concrete
- Rebar reinforcement
- 12-inch footings
Final slab and footing specifications depend on site conditions, intended use, local requirements and applicable engineering.
Site evaluation
Before we pour, our concrete team evaluates your site, including:
- Access for trucks and equipment
- Soil and ground conditions
- Grading and fill dirt needs
- Proposed building orientation
- Slab placement aligned with your metal building layout
Our concrete team can typically schedule a site inspection within 1–2 weeks, depending on availability and location.

How a concrete job works
- 1
Tell us about the job
Share the size, the location and what will sit on the concrete: a building, vehicles, equipment or foot traffic.
- 2
Site evaluation
We look at the site and plan the slab or flatwork for its use, so a building foundation matches the building you ordered.
- 3
Form and pour
Our crew forms, reinforces, pours and finishes the concrete.
- 4
Cure and build
The concrete cures before use. For building projects, we coordinate the building installation as the next phase.
